Martin Marietta Shop and Lab

The 43,000 square foot shop and lab is a pre-engineered metal building that incorporates an insulated panel system and architecturally enhanced design features. Martin Marietta will use the lab facility to test concrete for quality compliance and the shop to service large concrete equipment and trucks. 

During the early phases of construction, existing soil conditions at the site became apparent. In the remediation process PRIM replaced over 15,000 cubic yards of soil. 

PRIM was able to compress the schedule by working with trucking and dirt contractors to remove and place the dirt within 13 working days, saving critical time for an already expedited construction schedule.
